Word Score is a private iPhone app for family puzzle scores and chat.
Information used
The app uses your chosen display name, a player identifier, family membership, score entries and dates, chat messages and sent times, and the competition start date. It uses your iPhone’s iCloud account and Apple CloudKit to store and sync this information with invited family members. It also keeps a copy on your iPhone so scores and messages remain available when offline.
Who can see it
People invited to the same family group can see family display names, scores and chat messages. The family organiser can invite members and set the competition start date.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Word Score may alert you to new chat messages. The alert names the sender but does not show the message text.
Advertising and analytics
The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics. We do not sell your information.
Keeping and removing information
Deleting the app removes its local copy from that iPhone. Information already shared through iCloud may remain available to the family group. Members can contact the developer directly with questions about family data.
