Blind, as it happens.
After 30 years of living with glaucoma and progressive sight loss, I registered as severely sight impaired — blind, if you prefer fewer syllables. The Optical Delusion is where I share what happens when vision fails but life carries on at its usual, unhelpful speed: adaptations, daily workarounds and the occasional philosophical detour.
Movement, music and being creative keep me grounded, though gymnastics occasionally tests the definition. I use all three to adapt and make the world a little more accessible, even when the optics refuse to cooperate. Sight may fade, but vision doesn’t have to.
